RSN-3150 Working principle: The welding gun lifts the stud to ignite an arc between it and the workpiece, melting the metal at the end of the stud and the area to be welded. Then, within a set time, the stud is pressed into the molten pool and cooled to form a welded joint.
The advantage lies in handling large, heavy, and high-strength welding tasks, pursuing ultimate connection strength and reliability

1. Strong welding ability and wide range of applicable materials

Large diameter stud: The high current of 3150A enables easy welding of M20, M24, and even larger diameter studs, which cannot be achieved by low-power welding machines.

Multiple materials: Not only can it weld low carbon steel, but it can also weld stainless steel, aluminum alloy, copper alloy, and welding between dissimilar metals, with a wide range of applications.

2. Deep melting depth and high connection strength

The arc pulling process can generate sufficient heat to form a molten depth between the end of the bolt and the base metal, resulting in a very high strength of the welded joint. Its strength can usually reach or even exceed the strength of the bolt itself. The destructive test after welding usually involves the bolt itself being pulled apart, rather than the weld cracking.

3. High weld quality and good sealing performance

The formed weld seam is dense and free of pores, especially when using ceramic rings or gas protection, which can effectively prevent air from entering and ensure the quality of the weld seam. This makes it very suitable for applications that require sealing, such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, ship decks, etc.

4. All position welding

As long as the welding gun can reach and be stably placed, pull arc stud welding can achieve flat welding, horizontal welding, vertical welding, and even overhead welding, with strong adaptability.

5. Single side welding, with no or small marks on the back

This is a huge advantage for it. Welding is only completed on one side of the workpiece, which is the only option for structures such as boxes, pipes, etc. that are enclosed or can only be in contact from one side. The back usually has only slight deformations or small marks, which do not affect its appearance and use.

6. High production efficiency and automation potential

Although the cycle is slightly longer than that of capacitive discharge type, its efficiency is much higher for large-diameter bolts than drilling, tapping, or manual arc welding. It can be easily integrated with robots or CNC systems to achieve automated production.
