Main performance characteristics

Both the columns and crossbeams utilize a monolithic box-shaped structure, offering high mechanical strength, excellent stability, and a compact design. The columns exhibit excellent rigidity. The main welds between the columns and crossbeams are welded using an automatic gas shielded arc welding process. After assembly and alignment, they undergo a full annealing process to eliminate weld stress. The guide rails undergo vibration aging to eliminate stress, and are then machined on a large gantry planer. Planing and milling ensure long service life and excellent stability. The guide rails exhibit excellent rigidity and a high surface finish. While ensuring dimensional accuracy, they also achieve good geometric and positional tolerances and surface finish.

The shafts and rollers on the manipulator are made of 45# steel. During machining, the workpieces are first rough-turned, followed by a tempering process (HB217-255). Tempering hardens the shafts, which are then semi-finished on a lathe to create an allowance, and finally finished on a cylindrical grinder. The key components of the entire equipment are manufactured through multiple machining processes, with geometric tolerances and roughness meeting national standards.

The cross arm and bracket are raised and lowered using a double-row chain constant-speed lift mechanism, driven by a worm gear reducer, ensuring smooth, uniform, and highly safe lifting. The worm gear reducer offers excellent self-locking capabilities, and the bracket is equipped with a safety anti-fall device. This device consists of a pawl and a tension spring. The pawl is mounted on the bracket's hanger shaft, and the spring's elasticity ensures the pawl remains in optimal working condition. A counterweight is installed within the column, connected to the double-row chain. The worm gear reducer drives the cross arm and counterweight up and down. The cross arm moves smoothly, without vibration or noise.

The cross arm's extension and retraction is guided by rollers on the bracket, driven by a motor, a cycloidal reducer, and a worm gear reducer. Transmission is generated through the meshing of cylindrical gears and racks. Both the gear and rack are made of 45-grade steel and processed through multiple processes including turning, milling, and grinding. The bracket connecting the column and cross arm features a unique structure, and the roller assemblies mounted on it are uniquely arranged, resulting in high-precision machining. The pallet is the core of the entire manipulator, tightly connecting the column and cross arm together to form a cross-shaped welded manipulator. Each hole in the pallet undergoes multiple drilling, boring, and grinding processes. Both the boring and grinding machines are modern digital displays, offering advanced equipment and high precision. The roller assemblies mounted on the pallet are manufactured using national standard processing techniques. The pallet guide is a roller guide, connected to the pallet via roller shafts. Both the column and cross arm have four sets of active rollers, two of which are connected to the pallet via eccentric shafts. The eccentric shafts serve as the roller assembly's adjustment mechanism, allowing for adjustment based on the characteristics of the eccentric shafts. Adjusting the rollers allows for compensation of crossarm deflection, resulting in better welding results.

The column slewing is manual, driven by pushing the crossarm. The slewing bearing is a single-row ball type, utilizing an internationally advanced four-point contact structure. It is compact and lightweight, with four-point contact between the steel balls and the circular raceway, capable of simultaneously withstanding axial and radial forces, as well as overturning moments, ensuring flexible rotation. To ensure optimal stability of the column and crossarm during operation, a manual locking system is installed on the side of the slewing bearing.
