    Product Details

●CO2 gas shielded welding is the most widely used metal arc welding method. The main advantages are as follows:

    (1), low welding cost
CO2 gas is a by-product of breweries and chemical plants, with low price and wide sources, and its welding cost is about 40% to 50% of that of manual arc welding and submerged arc welding.
    (2), high welding productivity
Because the welding wire is automatically fed, the welding current density is high during welding, and the melting efficiency of the welding wire is high, so the deposition speed is high. Welding productivity is 2 to 3 times higher than manual arc welding. High work efficiency, 1-3 times higher than manual welding, up to 4 times higher.
(3), a wide range of applications
It can weld thin plates, thick plates and all-position welding.
    (4), strong rust resistance
CO2 welding is not as sensitive as other welding methods to rust, oil and moisture on the weldment, and has better anti-porosity ability.
    (5) Good operability, as flexible as manual arc welding.
    (6) The sub-penetration depth can reach 10mm when the penetration is opened, and the qualified rate of flaw detection can reach 95%.
    (7) Weld crack resistance, because CO2 gas is an oxidizing gas, due to oxidation, the hydrogen content in the weld is greatly reduced (hydrogen is the main cause of weld cracks)
(8)Small welding deformation, due to the reduction of welding heat input (line energy) due to the compression of the shielding gas, the welding deformation is reduced
    (8) High thermal efficiency. In electrode arc welding and submerged arc welding, the heat used to melt the electrode coating or flux greatly exceeds the heat lost in radiation and spatter during CO2 gas shielded welding. Therefore, the use of CO2 gas shielded welding can save electricity.
